Studio Calico February Kit

Studio Calico’s kits just keep getting better! February’s kit is full of unique embellishments from stickers, wooden pink stars and a small stamp set. The cards this month future a good mix of patterned cards and simple cards! The one thing I really love about this months kit is that there is a lot of seasonal elements, perfect for making a valentine’s day layout!

In the next few days ill be sharing more layouts from my 2017 album, which will feature my trip to London and also my Valentines day page in which ill be using a few products from this months kit!

“October” Studio Calico Documenter Kit

Hi Guys, this moments Studio Calico kit arrived a little later than normal so after a busy week at work I’m finally getting the chance to tell you all about it! When Studio Calico release a sneak peek of the next months kit I really wasn’t impressed, as its October wanted to show the season in colour just like every other month. But this kit seemed to much like spring and summer then fall!

This kit isn’t my favourite and some of the products I personally wouldn’t use. But I do like the mix of colours and patterns in this months selection of cards.

A few of my personal favourites from this moths kit are the clear gold letters these would be perfect for adding a small gold touch to layouts and also perfect for the upcoming christmas pages!

The next favourite is the Stamp set! I love receiving stamp sets in the kit’s for one they make me feel like I’m getting my months worth and also they are so fun to use. They make the perfect addition to simple cards!

Last but not least Chip board stickers, I can’t get enough of them!

What did you think to this months kit? What other Project life monthly kits can you recommend?

September Studio Calico Kit

Hi Guys!! Today I’m finally shearing the contents of the lost River Documenter kit by studio Calico. This month iv wanted to use the kit a little bit before reviewing.

This months kit was the perfect mix of different embellishes, cards and stamps. The main colours incorporated in the kit are perfect, I love the dark greens and earthy tones, they are the perfect transition my album needed to start looking a little bit more autumnal

This is my half-finished layout using the lost River kit, it still needs a bit of work but I’m loving the look of this page.

My favourite product from this kit is the stamp set! Iv only just started to use stamps in my album so my collection isn’t big, these are the perfect addition to anyones stash, big or small. They read ~ Road Trip! Day Trip! this is exactly why I ALWAYS CARRY A CAMERA, Oh darling let’s be adventurers and The Great outdoors! I’m definitely going to be getting lot of use out of these Stamps!

Project life 2016 Part One

I started my Project Life journey a few months into 2016, I wanted a new way to document, I wanted what I create to look grown up and I wanted to be proud to show it off. This year my love for memory keeping has become a passion and it’s all down to Project Life. Today I want to share the first part of my 2016 album with you all!

What I use to create my layouts

  • Project Life App – At the moment I don’t have my own printer, so I was finding it hard to print my photo’s to the right size to fit my page protectors. That was until I found The Project Life app. You simply add the photo’s to an already sized page, then save to your device. They’re now already to print!
  • Documenter Kits – I live in the UK and the only craft store is Hobby Craft which isn’t the best store if you’re looking for fun and unique embellishments. Each month I receive a themed documenter kit though the post, it’s full of filler cards and embellishments. They really inspire me and make my album really look fresh and exciting. (Check out my blog for past kits)
  • Core kits – Core Kits are a box full of different filler cards, at the moment I only have the holidays Core Kit which features cards for every holiday throughout the year. I really love this kit. The next on my list is the Everyday Edition, this kit is full of black and gold foil cards and as the name suggests you could use their cards everyday.

I hape you enjoyed taking a look inside my first Project Life album, in the next few months ill share more of my layouts and also a few of my favourite products.

“August” Studio Calico

Hi guys this August post is very late but it is really worth the wait. studio Calico has four monthly subscription kit’s and they all have the same monthly theme. I’ve subscribed to the the Documenter Kit which is perfect for Project life and other forms of documenting.

The August kits theme is Young At Heart, each kit arrives in a clear zip case, which is perfect for keeping the kit together and also holding other embellishments.

I’ve loved using this kit this month, the muted colours on the project life cards fit perfectly in my 2016 album, all the embellishments are all unique and not just the same old things you can buy at your local craft store. This subscription really has become my favourite!

Septembers kit looks like another great one, the theme is Lost River; perfect as fall is just around the corner!

Why not try this kit for free and just pay $5 for shipping! Simply use promo code SCKIT5 or SCKIT5INT!
